Director of Ban Klong Manao School Completes International Educational Leadership Program in India

NEW DELHI, INDIA – Mr. Wichai Nonthakan, Director of Ban Klong Manao School, has achieved a significant milestone for Thai education by completing the prestigious ITEC-IPHEI (International Programme for Higher Education Administrators). This global educational management course was held from March 30 to April 11, 2026, at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) in New Delhi.

Representing the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) and the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Wichai was among only 25 educational leaders selected from 16 countries worldwide, including Russia, Colombia, Turkey, Egypt, and various partner nations across Asia and Africa. The program served as a high-level forum for exchanging innovative educational management practices aimed at achieving academic excellence.

Upon his achievement, Mr. Wichai expressed his deepest gratitude to the Thai and Indian governments for providing this prestigious scholarship. He described the program as an "Innovation Bridge" that directly connects global expertise to border areas.

"I am ready to implement modern administrative strategies to write a new chapter for Ban Klong Manao School," said Mr. Wichai. "Our focus will be on reforming pedagogy through Active Learning to nurture our students and network into highly capable Global Citizens, ready to compete with grace on the international stage."
