“I am very happy, I enjoy the one months of time. Although I am
a teacher, but in fact I think the children are my teachers, in some ways they are actually better than me,
taught me some truth.I am very happy to have this opportunity to participate in ICCVTT, a non-profit
education organization, founded by Jason , who is a very powerful person. Everyone here is good to me and I
am very happy to meet these new friends.I am very happy in this one months through the teaching to the
northeast of Thailand, the students in the countryside feel the atmosphere of English teaching. I can play
games with them and singing, let me feel very happy. It also improves my teaching level and my Thai level,
which is a very valuable opportunity. If you also like Thailand, you want to experience Thai life, you want
to go to the vibrant Thai campus, or you are normal students want to improve your teaching level. Welcome to
inquire about our project and welcome to join u”

“This volunteer experience taught me to be a person who knew to be grateful. I would love to share a story here. One day, when I went to the school canteen, I found every student who came out of the canteen was eating an ice-cream. They had a bag of chips in their hands as well. According to teacher Jaew, I knew that both the ice-creams and the snacks were donated by one of their former students. The school helped him in the past, and he did this as a way to repay the kindness of the school. Although I did not know his name, I was very impressed by him. I have learned to be grateful, not only to express gratitude, but also to repay.”

“I loved to be part of this lovely project.
Everything I lived in Thailand was even more than I expected. I´ve learned a lot with such a different
culture. People are so kind in general, specially director, English teacher , students and
neighborhood. Students are very polite what surprised me in a good way, they have a high respect with
teachers and I felt them very interested in learning about Brazil´s culture and English language
what helped me to have good classes. I´m proud of them. Level is not to high but I can see they are
improving and can grow even more in the future. Hope there will be many volunteers in the next years
because I can see it´s a great opportunity for them.”

“This’s an amazing program, it’s very well organized, it
gave us so many useful suggestions and tips from making preparation all the way to teaching in Thailand. The
experiences and stories from previous volunteers gives us a good example to follow. All the local teachers
tried their best to help us live and teach here…The beautiful moments are happening every day, from bring
you an ice-cream to give you a pot of cold water. They are showing their politeness, kindness and respect to
us at every moment. Maybe these’re not so amazing and interesting things, but all I need to do is just live
in it, feel it and enjoy it”
Yanping Zhou,July 09-07,2018
“It has undoubtedly had an enormous impact on my life, and I believe I’ve learnt a lot more from the people and children in Thailand than what I’ve taught them. It was also a special experience because this was my first time teaching, and I know it has inspired me a lot to go on with teaching English in the future”
Rui Liu,06-16-2018.Bansansuk School
“This experience makes me see and feel many things that I
can’t see in China. For example, the education system here are quite different from China. Every morning I
can see the students pray in the playground. It is much better for a man to accept a belief education than
none .And also I find that the students here are easy to be here than that in China. They are under
less pressure and flippant in cla.Students here live in a happy life.”

Any final comments? Thanks very much for providing me the opportunity to have this amazing journey. I will

“The ICCVTT gave me a chance to deeply learn about
the people and the culture in Thailand. I was so grateful for my principle and his families because they are
so nice and warm that I feel like I am one of their family members. In a word, they tried their best to let
me enjoy different aspects of Thai culture. In addition, the cleverness and diligence of the students leave
me a deep impression. I enjoy the process that I got more and more familiar with them and finally became not
only their teacher but also their friend. Last but not least, I am quite satisfied with this program and I
will strongly recommend it to my friends.”
CHEN YUXIAN,China, February 26, 2018
“The whole experience from the very beginning I submit my application till now, I still can feel that you organization cares about every volunteer and has a strong connection to get in touch with us, to motivate us to improve our teaching methods. I was very impressed by what you have done to us and the community in Sakeao.”
CAI ZHEN (Cecilia),China, February 26, 2018
“After so many years planning to do a volunteering, I
believe that was the best choice of country and also the best place to do.I felt like living in
another world. A world where people are very united and they really care for each other. The English
teaching was a challenge, preparing classes for children who have an alphabet different from
mine. But all the looks, smiles and gestures made a better understanding. And at the end of
the class, receiving those strong hugs was priceless.
I am definitely no longer the same person and thank you for the initiative of the ICCVVT project to believe
in a world full of love and without borders! Thank you for all the organization and support, information,
caring, accomodation, lots of food, etc .Thanks to introduce me this New World with new colours,
New flavours, New music, huge faith, respect and lots of culture.I am really happy to experience
that, and only waiting for the next time! ”
Letticia Zotto from Brazil, 26February 2018
“The students were like my younger brothers and sisters, I like the smile of students, and
I really appreciate their politeness and independence. The local teachers were like my family memebers, I
have ever been to one teacher hometown, and I had a “family vacation” with her family on Rayong; I have ever
been to Ayutthaya with local teachers and her friends, we were dressed in Thai suits and had a very happy
weekend”

“I think volunteers can take some gifts from our own
countries, gifts from our countries may be more meaningful. Teachers and students there are really
lovely.”
LIU CHEN,China, February 15, 2018
“I really enjoyed the experience due to the lovely
students and the kind teachers in my school. All in all, this program is even more than what I have
expected… I’m satisfied with my accommodation because we live in a traditional Thai wooden house and
that’s just what I dreamed of. The facilities are clean and can meet my living standard. About food I’m
rather satisfied as well. The food provided by our school are delicious traditional Thai food. Sometimes we
would cook by ourselves for breakfast and dinner and we really enjoy it”
Patrick Liu,China, February 14, 2018
“Spread love through jogging” Since I was in a totally new
place, I started jogging to get familiar with the local people and the surroundings. Every single person I
met on the way greeted me with a nice smile and I used to reply “Sawadee krub”. While jogging, I found out
which kid of my school lives in which house and which kid is related to which kid (siblings). It was an
interesting exploration. Sooner, the kids started asking me if they can join jogging with me and we had a
team, a new member almost every other day. Coming from Japan, February of Thailand was a summer for me. But
it was winter for them, so I found people warming themselves in fire. I saw monks visiting each house and
people were happily donating foods to them. One family gifted me a big jackfruit and another family served
me breakfast when I visited their house to greet our kid from school. It was a heartwarming experience.
Building this kind of relationship showed positive impacts in classroom as well because kids with whom I
jogged together were focusing and following my instructions in the classroom. One more thing, two dogs from
my school (Yon and Yue) accompanied me everyday in my jogging. Mother dog Yon used to fight back with all
the other dogs (there were planety) who barked at us and kept us safe. Motherly love! Jogging was never for
physical exercise for me (it barely burned my fat lol), it was about building an unprecedented relationship
and spreading smiles and love with these kind-hearted people of Sa Kaeo.”

“I have to say this is an awesome volunteer program. I came here and teachers and the students
treat me so well. They gave me the big welcome and took care of me. During the process, as soon as I got the
problem, I could contact with Jason or the principle and the teachers here, they would answer my question
immediately.”

“I have learnt many things during my 6 months, which I
will take back to my teaching in Australia. Not only have I gained knowledge but my heart has also grown in
love and spirituality. I feel so blessed having had this opportunity and I truly believe I have
found a place where I can call home.Sometimes life has a way of showing you the right path, if you are
willing to take a chance. I’m so glad I did! Thank you for the smiles and kindness. Thank you to the
students who always tried their best. Thank you for the delicious meals and keeping my belly full.”
Kathryn Long, Australia, January 5, 2018
“I love and cherish this experience. The students are all cute and smart. The local teacher
treated us just as family! At the end of the program, I feel so sad about the coming leaving. If I have time
next year, I will come back and do more things!”

“Life is a journey and Pongkom school must be one of the most beautiful scenery along my
way. In this place, I know that happiness is giving from my heart and receiving love from others’ heart. The
world may make us feel tired sometimes, whereas there still exist some places where we can see pure smiles
and feel true bliss.”
Ruoxi Liu,China, January 2, 2018
“I enjoy the wonderful experience with ICCVTT. It has a
profound impact on me. It has almost everything I have expected like cute children, friendly teachers and
delicious food. But there are many kinds of insects in my house is beyond my expection. Like the lizards,
geckos, frogs and mosquitos. But I got used to them after few days….This experience really changed me a lot.
I prepared Powerpoint for students, played game with them. It train me a lot about how to communicate with
children. I become more friendly and know more about Thailand culture. Especially, I learned to cook
Thailand food, that’s good!”
Song zhe,China, January 2, 2018
“I like this organization very much and I will cherish it
in my deep memory. Everything here is beyond what I thought before and it is much better. The students here
are very cute and smart, and most importantly, they dare to express themselves and their enthusiasm always
influences me. And teachers here are very kind, they always prepare everything we need and consider
everything for us. Only one thing I think it’s not so good is the insects. There are so many small animals
in the room, gecko, frogs, lizards, mosquitoes…. But all in all, I like this organization a lot and I hope
in the future, I will come here again!”
Zhao Sifei,China, January 2, 2018
“I have had a good time to be here and meeting so many new
friends. I have practiced my English a lot and also studying English with these lovely students for two
weeks. During this period, I have got some new knowledge of learning things in classes with different aged
students. Also, I learnt some Thai culture by participating in cultural activities…It is quite different for
being a volunteer in a foreign country. I should do a lot of thins by myself and more importantly I should
try my best to communicate with others where there is language obstacle. Also, from this experience, I see
more of values that people have in common such as cooperation and being grateful. I think this will help me
a lot in my future career and life.”
Haojie Ding (Eddie),China, February 02, 2018
“I really had an unforgettable experience here. Although the accommodations here is
unconvinced, teachers here are willing to bring us to everywhere we want. The school is a typical Thai
school,so we can learn a lot of Thai culture here…It makes me become independent and more interested in this
charming country. We overcame many troubles in this days, so it gave us power to face barriers in the
future. Thailand is a attractive country, we think we would come again…”
CHENXI ZHOU Ciel,China, February 02, 2018

I had all the support I needed from the organization and program meet my expectations. It affected positively for sure and I feel grateful for this opportunity. It was a pleasure to be part of the kids life in this short period and even though I had never taught before I hope I had helped them.”
Frederico Campos Souza, Brazil, December 26, 2017
It was an extraordinary experience for me. I got close to the sweet children and kind local people. I got to know a new culture. I’ll never forget this amazing volunteer trip.
Xu xiaojie, China, December 24, 2017
“I really enjoy the experience with ICCVTT, every student and teacher is nice and kind. The livving condition is good and teaching experience is great and unforgettable. It’s my first time to be a teacher, and I found teaching is such a interesting and meaningful thing. I might try to be a teacher in the future. Furthermore, I was a little nervous. But now, I can be a teacher and face students, I feel confident.”
Yansong (Harry) Huang, China, December 22, 2017
“In this program, the people I met is the most valuable part. Teachers in the school, peer volunteers and all students taught me many things that I didn’t experience before through our conversations. Much appreciate.”
JING XU, China, November 30, 2017
“Yes!I can’t ask more! It’s hard to describe that why there
are such a kind, warm-hearted principle!I never seen a principle invite teachers to his home for meals or
drive his car ro buy foods for school students, the one month taken care by such a good man,I feel so
honored! The teachers in the school are kind too! They did breakfast for us,and invited us to their home to
prevent if we felt alone in school…There are lots of touching events the school teachers did for us. I love
them all!”
Yitao Zhang, China, September 01, 2017
“I had a wonderful time with teachers and lovely students here. This is a great project for both sides. I think volunteers should try to be creative, bring something that students never experienced and merge English teaching with fun. By the way,the English Camp in my school turned out to be pretty successful but it took a long and hard period to prepare because teachers here may turn to keep the traditional way and they wouldn’t understand you when talking.”
Lin Jianhong(Angelo),August 02, 2017
“It’s a fresh experience for me to teach foreign students Which it’s good for my future life. Teachers here love the students very much and treat them like kids, helping the students to wash hair and so on. I learn a lot from them. All in all, I love my voluntary job. What’s more, I experienced the local culture deeply and have some Thai friends now.”
Liu Shasha,August 02, 2017

Xin HU, China August 05, 2017
“The whole volunteer experience made me know further about Thai culture, which is different compared to what I knew at first. What’s more, the teachers here are rather considerate to volunteers and students’ smiles here can brighten all the darkness away, which I am so grateful for and I will surely remember forever.”
ZHANG WEN HUI,China , August 06, 2017
“Teaching in Thailand is a totally new experience for me. This volunteer experience has enrich my life. Now I
have a better understanding about Thai culture. I enjoy teaching here. Maybe I would like to become a
teacher when I come back to China…
I really wanna say thank you for this awesome program. Thank you so much. I love the students here, I love
the teachers here, and I love teaching here. I’ve got a lot of happy memories during this month. Now it
feels like I have my own family in Thailand now. I do appreciate everything you did for this program. A
million thanks.”
Qiaoming Yuan (Mia),China, February 2017
“I feel that this program is excellent and well
organized.Firstly, it can protect volunteers so well that we nearly don’t need to worry about our safety in
Thailand.Secondly, owning the maximum degree of freedom to teach, volunteers can arrange their teaching plan
variably.Furthermore, the program includes not only the experience of teaching but also the touch of local
culture, which I think bring us a balanced air.”
Wu Peiyao China, February 2017
“The experience renews my hope for life. I am very busy and stressed in my college, which
leaves no time for me to feel the beauty of life. But in Thailand, I meet friendly people and stay with
beautiful nature everyday, I feel very relaxed and happy during those days”
Jiaqi Fu from China, February 2017
“I will remember it forever, and this experience makes me more interested in volunteer programs. And it gives me more power to realize my dream,to be a responsible teacher”
ZHANG YIFAN from China, February 2017
“To be honest,I think this volunteer thing is the rightest
choice I ever made. I just thought I shouldn’t linger away my holidays and need to find something meaningful
to do before I actually came here. Now, it’s not just a simple volunteer work for me. I learned a great deal
from every single one of teachers and students about kindness and respect. I was touched by their
simple-heated way to treat other people and their zest for life. At the same time, they taught me a lot of
things about the traditional culture and different lifestyles of Thailand. It’s my first time that had had
chance love with people from another country. Moreover, I feel much more brave, confident and outgoing after
these days with these nice people and adorable kids. Besides,I have a totally different opinion about
volunteering work.”
Yang Liu from China, February 2017
This is a unique chance for me to get along with teachers
and students. I am happy here with the kids every single day. This program is so excellent that I really
want it will enlarge its effect in China so that more and more people can know about ICCVTT…I believe it
will be the most meaningful and treasured experience in my life. Not only has it enriched myself but also
let me understant the job’s meaning of a teacher. It made me believe there will be more and more wonderful
volunteer things which deserved to be done.”
Liang Xiaoying from China, February 2017
“It is great that former volunteers can give many helpful advices to the laters.Such as how to go to school, and announcements. Our school have a stay room for me, and teachers can bring me to anywhere if I want to go. It’s great….Teachers help me too much, espacial the pre-school teacher, Lay. Students are too energetic and inattentive, so it’s hard for us to control class. And we can use everything, such as computer, printer and so on to prepare our class.”
Keyu Ren from China, February 2017 |
“I enjoy this volunteer trip very much.To be honest, it’s greatly over my imagination before. The environment and people here are so nice that I can’t request more. And I really thank the ICCVTT to give me this chance to come here, I’ll help to introduce this organization to more people in the future…This volunteer experience is extremely valuable for me.I feel the difference of education between Thailand and China clearly through school and peole here, I feel like helping others more now.In Thailand, people have their strong religion, I think this is the reason why people in Thailand alwasys kind to others, oeven strangers.I think I’ll study this in my life, believe the natural power and revere others. Also, this trip help me a lot in improving my oral English hahaha. Maybe it has more affect after I come back to my life before, and I’ll take them as my value”
YIN MENGFEI from China, February 2017
“I am enjoying the life here. It’s happy to teach students and live with the kind teachers. Everything here makes me feel like at home, and I enjoy the regular and daily life. The program is good and it include everything I have expected”
Yongmei Tan From China, February 2017

“The program definitely meets and had exceeded my expectations. Especially the accommodation was sufficient, clean and functional as described in the booklet. The teachers and students showed great respect and welcomed me as family. I felt very safe, welcomed and happy during my stay. My top expectation was clean accommodation and friendly staff. Facility was secondary, but the school provided more than enough to support my teaching. Thanks!”
Tingting Hu,Chin, January 2017

“Let’s say that the Thai way of life teaches one a thing or two about living in the moment, not taking things too seriously and smiling all the time! Going back home we will remember our month here and be able to take our serious lives in Western Europe with a grain of salt. Our contacts with the teachers and students was so heart-warming that we will never forget them. Actually, we really plan to come back one day. We were invited in a teacher’s home, went to restaurant during the weekend, did karaoke and so on. It was amazing!”
Jo Bogaerts and Marieke Remans from Belguim, September 2016
“The experience affected me in many ways, the simplicity
of people, the children always smiling, the teachers trying to make me feel welcome, the director worry
about me all the time, even in the weekends. The community around always smile for me. I definitely am
another person now, a better one thanks the program.I’ll remember every day the way those kids look at me,
the way that they hug me screaming my name. If the future volunteer have some worry about to come, about the
place, people, food and children, don’t be afraid, just come, open your hearts and come. They really need
our help.”
Andre Silva from Brazil ,September, 2016

“The experience is amazing,I met so many great and friendly people along the journey, had a chance to live with the locals and got the first-handed experience of the Thailand culture ,custom, education. For anyone who is a big fan of Thailand and wants to know it better, this is a opportunity should not miss.”
Jie Wang,China, July, 2016

“I felt everything was good organized. From very beginning, when I applied, when Mr. Jason contacted me and had an interview through Skype. Mr. Jason didn’t keep me wait for too long time. Besides, all of our volunteers must receive some warming files such as necessary Thai language, information about personal school, introduction about Thai weather and culture and so forth. What’s more, when I arrived here, Mr. Jason would ask how i felt about here, if I was satisfied with everything here. I have to say Mr. Jason concerns about our safety and inside feelings.”
Xu Ying, January 07, 2016
