Ban Klong Manao School, Sa Kaeo Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, Receives Certificate of Participation in the 2026 SEAMEO-Japan ESD Award

On 1 October 2026, Ban Klong Manao School, under the Sa Kaeo Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, received a Certificate of Participation in the 2026 SEAMEO-Japan ESD Award from the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) and Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).

The school submitted its project, “Young Data Innovators: AI for Nutrition, Learning, and Community Well-being in a Thai Border School,” under the theme “Learning and Well-being for Sustainable Futures: Leveraging the Power of AI.” It was one of 20 participating schools from Thailand, among a total of 160 entries from nine Southeast Asian countries.

The project focuses on applying artificial intelligence and data to improve nutrition, learning, and the well-being of students and their community in a Thai border area. It reflects the collective efforts of the school’s leadership, teachers, students, and local community to advance education for sustainable development and share their practices internationally.
