Ban Khlong Manao School Explores International Educational Partnership with University of Batangas Grade School, Philippines

On 25 June 2026, Ban Khlong Manao School, under the Sa Kaeo Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, Thailand, led by Mr. Wichai Nontakan, School Director, together with Ms. Krittayaporn Intharaphet, teacher, participated in an online meeting via Google Meet with Mr. Jonathan J. Ramirez, Principal of University of Batangas Grade School, Republic of the Philippines.

The meeting focused on exploring future collaboration in education, cultural exchange, and the development of students' English communication skills through joint learning activities between the two schools.

This partnership was initiated through the professional network established during the SEAMEO SEAL 2026 program, where school leaders from different countries had the opportunity to connect and exchange educational experiences. Building on this connection, Ban Khlong Manao School introduced the "Little STAR Program – Thai–Filipino Teacher Exchange Program," which aims to promote intercultural learning, strengthen English communication skills, and foster friendship between Thai and Filipino students.

Both schools expressed their commitment to expanding this collaboration to provide meaningful international learning experiences, develop students' 21st-century skills, and inspire them to become responsible global citizens through friendship, mutual understanding, and cross-cultural learning.
