Ban Khlong Manao School Celebrates Asalha Puja and Buddhist Lent Day 2026
On July 28, 2026, Ban Khlong Manao School, under the Sa Kaeo Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, led by Mr. Wichai Nontakan, Director of Ban Khlong Manao School, along with teachers, educational personnel, and students, organized special activities for Asalha Puja Day and Buddhist Lent Day.
The atmosphere was filled with merit-making and joy! The candle procession passed through the Khlong Manao Market, receiving warm cooperation and generous merit-making contributions from local villagers. There were also lively traditional candle-dance performances, followed by the candle-light procession (Wian Tian) to observe Asalha Puja Day at Ban Khlong Manao Temple.

To preserve Buddhism.
To conserve fine traditional Thai culture.
To instill good morals and ethics in students.
To foster good relationships between the school and the community.
